Pilgrimage. That is probably the best way to describe going to the St. Moses the Black Conference. Sure, we all can chat with each other through Facebook. And a few of us can be reached through our blogs. But, there is nothing like meeting and worshiping with one another.
These two videos give a glimpse of what the conference is about. The themes are about bringing us to a greater knowledge of the African foundations of Orthodox Christianity and bringing us all together for worship and encouragement in the faith.
The 2014 Conference will be held in Lima, Ohio. No date has been given yet. Hopefully, the videos will encourage you to join us. Feel free to follow my articles about my first pilgrimage as well.
